This article describes Permissions Prerequisites for different Connectors that can be used in PPM Express Time.
PPM Express Time allows establishing connections to several source systems to analyze certain user activities and suggest possible time entries to the user. If PPM Express Time users would like to connect source systems they are using to PPM Express Time, in most cases, the only prerequisite for users is to have an account in the source system they would like to connect.
Microsoft Office 365 Planner Connector is an exception here.

Please note: The first user who registers PPM Express TIME tenant is automatically assigned with Tenant Administrator role and can assign this role to any other user registered in PPM Express TIME.
The scope of permission required for a Planner connection:
- User.Read,
- User.ReadBasic.All,
- Tasks.Read.
